Wondom Brick DBKL3: A powerful module
The Brick DBKL3 is the result of meticulous design by Wondom. This module has benefited from dedicated PCB design and careful component selection to produce a sound that's both powerful and clean. The result is an output power of 900W into 2Ω, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 96dB and a harmonic distortion of just 0.02%.
Wondom Brick DBKL3: Multiple input modes
The Brick DBKL3 supports a Single-ended input for compatibility with the vast majority of equipment. Moreover, this module also supports a differential input, to considerably reduce noise in the final rendering. Both input methods are optional, and can be selected via a switch on the back of the board.
Wondom Brick DBKL3: Gain adjustment
In order to adapt to all possible uses of this module, it has a gain setting that lets you choose between a low gain of 33dB or a high gain of 37dB. Like the input method setting, the gain setting is available via a switch on the back of the board.
Wondom Brick DBKL3: Extended load impedance
The Brick DBKL3 features highly flexible load impedance characteristics for optimized frequency response. It has been laboratory-tested with capacitive, inductive and resistive loads to ensure stability and performance. Thanks to its low output impedance, this audio amplifier board supports a wide range of loads from 1.5Ω to 16Ω without being influenced by the load characteristics of the drivers.
Wondom Brick DBKL3: Automatic standby mode
This high-power amplifier module features a signal level sensor system for optimized power consumption. It continuously measures the input signal and has a predefined signal voltage threshold. When no signal is detected (voltage below threshold) for a certain period of time, the amplifier board automatically switches to standby mode, drastically reducing power consumption. Standby power consumption when no signal is detected is just 1.2 W. As soon as a signal is detected, the amplifier immediately returns to operation.
Wondom Brick DBKL3: Reliability
Aware of the wide variety of uses to which the Brick DBKL3 will be put, Wondom has taken every measure to ensure exemplary robustness. For example, this module is equipped with protection against current overload, overheating and reverse polarity. Furthermore, this module has also undergone HASS and HALT testing during its design, ensuring long-term reliability.
Wondom Brick DBKL3: Simple integration
For the simplest integration, the Brick DBKL3 comes with an interface including RCA and XLR inputs and a screw terminal block, allowing you to connect easily.
