Moondrop PARA II: Large 100mm FDT membrane
Unlike traditional magnetic planar headphones, the PARA range adopts a very large 100mm diaphragm using Full Drive Technology (FDT). The entire vibrating surface of the diaphragm is uniformly covered with efficient circuitry and encapsulated in a magnetic field. This technology delivers far more effective vibrations than traditional planar magnetic headphones, and is comparable to electrostatic headphones.
Moondrop PARA II: N52 magnet array optimized by FEA
The Moondrop PARA II adopts an array of 36 wide neodymium N52 magnet strips to generate a planar magnetic field covering the entire vibrating surface. This design has been optimized using FEA simulation to ensure uniform and efficient magnetic field distribution.
Moondrop PARA II: An ultra-thin membrane
Moondrop PARA II headphones feature an ultra-thin diaphragm measuring just 1.2µm, enhancing detail and bass depth while optimizing speed of response. It also uses pure silver soft circuit etching technology, largely eliminating the influence of circuitry on membrane surface tension for perfectly distributed vibrations.
The PARA II also adopts TBT (Tension Balancing Technology) for improved surface tension balancing, improving the uniformity of vibrations across the diaphragm, maintaining low distortion and wide dynamic range.
Moondrop PARA II: Robust, lightweight design
The Moondrop PARA II inherits the internal structure of the VENUS headset, while improving the shell design and materials. The internal structure of the PARA II promotes uniform distribution of the magnetic field over the diaphragm. What's more, after extensive mechanical simulation, the aluminum alloy frame of the VENUS was replaced by industrial-grade plastic capable of supporting the load of the magnetic circuit while significantly reducing the weight of the helmet.
Moondrop PARA II: A broad, perfectly optimized response
Thanks to the use of advanced technologies and meticulous tuning by Moondrop's R&D team, the PARA II delivers both incredible acoustic performance and a refined listening experience.
With a high degree of correspondence to the VDSF target frequency response curve and a finer suspension system, the PARA II delivers an open, natural soundstage. Slight treble extension reveals detailed sound and rapid response for a natural timbre.
Even at pressure levels in excess of 1Pa, PARA II is capable of very low non-linear distortion, below 0.05% over virtually the entire frequency band.
Moondrop PARA II: Universal and interchangeable 3.5mm double jack cable
The PARA II features 3.5mm jack connectors, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of cables. It also comes with a detachable cable with high-purity 6N copper conductors for perfect signal transmission. This cable is terminated in 4.4mm jack format.
Moondrop PARA II: Comfortable pads
The PARA II pads are made from specially selected sheepskins, ensuring excellent wearing comfort and durability. They are designed to be easily removed and adjusted thanks to a magnetic fastener.
Moondrop PARA II: Aluminum shells
The PARA range adopts an industrial aesthetic combining design and practicality. The shells of the Moondrop PARA II helmet are made of polished stainless steel, perfectly combining the clean lines of the Bahaus aesthetic with ultra-modern sobriety.
