With the CD-S100v25, Shanling is offering an updated version of its successful CD player. This new version is based on the architecture of the brand's ET3 CD player, adding additional functions to classic CD playback, such as USB drive playback, Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility with DLNA and Airplay network protocols.

This updated version incorporates a DS11 laser sensor coupled to a BD34352 DAC chip, capable of processing a signal well in excess of the sampling rate of the CD format, allowing full use to be made of the USB input with compatibility up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512. This solid technological backbone is powered by a 43VA R30 transformer.

Its numerous digital and analogue outputs and connectivity make it a flexible device with a much wider range of uses than a simple CD player, which can be used as a DAC thanks to its USB input or as a steamer thanks to its network and Bluetooth connectivity.
