The SMSL M20 DAC / headphone amplifier benefits from audiophile components and a most singular form factor. It features no less than 4 CS43131 chips and an XMOS XU316 USB interface, enabling it to support sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD256 and MQA. On the headphone amplification side, the TPA6120A2 delivers 2x700mW under 16 ohm and up to 2x40mw under 600 ohm. The SMSL M20 is therefore capable of driving many of the headphones and IEMs available on the market. Connectivity includes a USB-C input (2.0/1.1), a stereo line output on 3.5mm jack and, of course, two headphones outputs: 3.5mm jack and balanced 4.4mm jack.
SMSL M20: A low-noise, high-power device
The SMSL M20 integrates a low-noise power supply that powers various audiophile components, whether for its digital-to-analog conversion stage or its headphones amplification stage. In addition to supporting high-resolution streams thanks to no fewer than 4 CS43131 chips, TPA6120A2 headphone amplifier chips enable it to drive audio headphones or IEMs with impedances ranging from 16 ohms to 600 ohms.

SMSL M20: Extended compatibility
The M20's USB-C input can operate in either USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 mode, providing an optimum level of compatibility with a wide range of devices, from computers and smartphones to video game consoles such as the PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
