Aune's N7 is a powerful, discreet, fully balanced Class A headphone amplifier-preamplifier. It's based on a combination of JFET transistors for headphone amplification, an independent Class A preamplifier function and R2R volume control for optimal audio signal processing. The use of JFET transistors delivers a warm, smooth sound that will delight tube enthusiasts. Add to this an attractive 3" color display and a user-friendly interface for a pleasant listening experience and easy device control. In terms of connectivity, the N7 is well equipped with RCA and balanced XLR inputs, two 6.35mm jack and balanced 4.4mm jack headphone outputs, and two preamplified RCA and balanced XLR outputs.
Aune N7: JFET transistors for a warm sound
The use of JFET transistors in the N7 offers a sound similar to that of tubes. They provide a soft, warm sound signature, while optimizing signal processing as it enters the device.
Aune N7: R2R volume control
The Aune N7 features no less than 2 JRC volume control chips paired with AOPs to form a balanced 4-channel volume control. This offers extremely precise volume control with high stability between left and right channels.
Aune N7: A powerful headphone amplifier
By adjusting the gain, the N7 delivers the output power needed to drive headphones and IEMs with impedances from 16 to 600 Ohms without difficulty. In fact, with a high-gain 32-ohm load, it can deliver up to 6570mW of power.
