With its S17 Pro EVO, Aune unveils a powerful Class A headphone amplifier that can also be used as a preamplifier in a Hi-Fi installation. This headphone amplifier features discrete components and balanced outputs. Its final output stage uses two pairs of transistors in parallel, and the unit totals 16 output transistors. It also incorporates an R2R volume control and an attractive color display on the front panel. Inputs include single-ended RCA and balanced XLR. Powerful, the S17 Pro EVO can drive all types of headphones, from 32Ω to 600Ω impedance. The EVO version of the S17 Pro adds to all this independent volume management between its line and headphone outputs, as well as improved temperature management for more efficient cooling.

Aune S17 Pro EVO: Powerful amplification stage

The amplification stage of the Aune S17 Pro Evo is based on TWIN JFETs, ideal for headphone amplification. Each output channel incorporates two pairs of transistors, for a total of 16 output transistors. This Class A headphone amplifier also offers two levels of current adjustment: 50mA and 100mA per JFET. The Aune S17 Pro stands out for its warm, detailed sound reproduction, while delivering outstanding performance with a very low level of distortion.

A R2R JRC volume control chip is integrated into the Aune 17 Pro Evo to achieve a high level of precision and a wide soundstage.

Aune S17 Pro EVO: Two gain levels to handle all types of headphones

The S17 Pro Evo is capable of driving headphones with impedances ranging from 32Ω to 600Ω. Output power can reach up to 7.5W to drive the most demanding headphones.

Aune S17 Pro EVO: Efficient heat dissipation and clean power supply

A three-dimensional structure consisting of internal radiators, a massive plate and the chassis forms a complete and efficient cooling system, guaranteeing the stability of the Class A amplifier stage. A 50W toroidal transformer, combined with 19200µF array capacitors, feeds the digital and analog sections independently, minimizing potential interference on the analog section. These features enable the S17 Pro Evo to deliver high power output with rich, clear sound.
