The Topping A900 is a high-end headphone amplifier and preamplifier, combining power, performance and design. It benefits from T'ang-ku-la's proprietary balanced amplification architecture, enabling it to develop significant power, making it capable of accompanying the vast majority of audio headphones. What's more, in addition to its exceptional measurements, the A900 boasts a particularly comprehensive connectivity package to meet a wide range of needs.
Topping A900: Optimized T'ang-ku-la amplification architecture
T'ang-ku-la's proprietary amplification architecture adopts a new three-stage feedback circuit (patented technology), effectively reducing circuit noise and high-frequency distortion, further improving dynamic range to an incredible 151dB, and full-band THD (90kBw) to 0.00003%. What's more, this new technology effectively reduces the creation of circuit heat, improving reliability and extending the device's durability.
The three T'ang-ku-la modules form a balanced six-channel architecture, maintaining a balanced signal from source to output. The headphone amplifier is capable of delivering up to 2x 22000mW of power at 16Ω.

Topping A900: Numerous inputs
The rear panel of the Topping A900 incorporates high-quality Neutrik connectors, offering three groups of balanced stereo combo inputs (XLR + 6.35mm jack). This design ensures broad compatibility with a wide range of professional audio equipment, adapting to both audiophile and studio use.
Topping A900: Outputs for every use
The A900 is equipped with numerous front-panel headphone outputs, providing six physical connectors: two XLR (balanced) / Jack 6.35mm (unbalanced) combo outputs, two balanced XLR 4-pin outputs and two balanced Jack 4.4mm outputs. These outputs use high-quality Neutrik and Pentaconn connectors. The outputs can be configured as independent or simultaneous.
Topping A900: Preamplifier outputs
The Topping A900 also features a preamplifier output and offers a dedicated pure preamplifier mode. As a preamplifier, the A900 benefits from similar measurements to the headphone amplifier section, with a THD+N of less than 0.000055%, making it an ideal companion for a power amplifier, to enjoy incredibly faithful sound reproduction.
Topping A900: Intuitive control
A two-inch color display shows playback information in real time. On the right, three capacitive buttons work seamlessly with the volume knob for intuitive control. The latter not only offers precise volume control, but also benefits from a function that can be customized to suit your preferences.
Topping A900: Many display modes
The A900 allows you to easily select from several display modes, such as playback information, FFT spectrum or vumeter. The device also offers six background colors, so you can adapt the interface to your aesthetic preferences.
Topping A900: Premium remote control
The Topping A900 comes with a remote control designed in a single block of aluminum alloy using high-precision CNC (numerical control) and finely sandblasted. As a result, this remote control is both robust and stylish.
Topping A900: Balanced relay volume control
The A900 features a balanced relay volume control system, reducing crosstalk to -153dB. This provides exceptional sonic purity and channel separation for a breathtaking musical experience. Volume control is in 0.5dB steps for smooth sound level changes.
Topping A900: Isolated power supply
The power supply for the digital processing circuit is physically isolated from the two analog amplifier circuits, delivering a more stable voltage and effectively reducing interference.
