With its A80, Aiyima unveils a small integrated amplifier packed with audiophile features and components. It's primarily based on an ESS9038Q2M DAC chip and a TPA3255D2 amplifier chip. This enables it to support high-resolution sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256, as well as delivering up to 2x120W of power under 4 ohm with its supplied 48V 5A power supply. Added to this is a QCC3040 Bluetooth receiver chip for reliable wireless connection thanks to AAC, SBC, aptX, aptX LL and aptX codecs.
To complete the package, there's also a handsome color display for easy navigation between the amplifier's various parameters and access to different display modes, such as a vumeter. In terms of connectivity, the amplifier features a full range of digital and analog inputs, including USB-C, Toslink optical, coaxial, RCA and balanced stereo TRS 6.35mm jack, while output is via speaker terminals. As an added bonus, it also features a 12V trigger input and a 3.5mm jack auxiliary output, enabling it to be connected to an active subwoofer or a second amplifier.
Aiyima A80: An audiophile chipset
The Aiyima A80 is an amplifier based on the combination of an ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chip, a SA9137L USB interface and a TPA3255D2 amplifier chip. This chipset enables it to support high-definition sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256, while delivering up to 2x120W under 4 ohm with its 48V 5A power supply. In addition, the NJW1194 digital volume control chip allows adjustment of the bass and treble tones for a tailor-made sound experience.
Aiyima A80: Easily replaceable DIP8 OPAs
The Aiyima A80 amplifier's preamplifier stage features DIP8-mounted OPA1656 and NE5532 AOPs for easy replacement. Here's a non-exhaustive list of compatible OPAs: RT3609SM, OPA2604, OPA2134, LM4562, JRC5532, OP275GSZ, OPA1612.
Please take care not to damage the device or the OPAs when replacing or handling them. Any damage to the device caused by improper handling on the part of the user (reverse mounting of OPAs, mounting of non-compatible OPAs, etc.) will invalidate the product warranty.
Aiyima A80: PFFB circuitry
The Aiyima A80 amplifier benefits from a PFFB (Post Filter FeedBack) circuit that greatly optimizes performance while significantly reducing distortion. It also enables the amplifier to remain stable even in difficult conditions.

The A80's front panel features an attractive color display with a pleasant interface for easy navigation through the device's various parameters and settings. Various display modes are also available, including a vumeter.
Aiyima A80: 48V 5A power supply
A 48V 5A power supply is supplied with the Aiyima A80. This enables it to deliver up to 2x120W into 4 ohm, but if you want a more substantial power reserve, you can obtain it with a 48V 10A power supply. In fact, the Aiyima can deliver up to 2x250W into 4 ohm with a more powerful power supply.

AIYIMA A80 tes by Audio Science Review (Amirm)
Usually, any digital input in this class of amplifier is a "checklist item." In the A80, we have a serious DAC that provides a transparent path to the amplifier. The design is excellent given the wide high res display which can show levels, spectrum, etc.. Performance overall ranks from very good to excellent for the class.
