SMSL PA-X: Transistor GaN FET
The PA-X uses GaN FET transistors for its amplifier stage. These transistors offer significantly higher efficiency than conventional silicon transistors, minimizing energy losses during switching and reducing heat generation. In addition, GaN transistors are distinguished by their extremely high switching speed, of the order of 1MHz. This increased speed has several notable advantages: it eliminates switching noise in circuits, considerably reducing background noise, and it enables a much faster response time, instantly adapting to variations in power demand for greatly improved audio dynamics.
