SMSL PA40: MA5332MS amplification chip
The PA40's amplifier stage is based on an Infineon MA5332MS chip. This chip provides 2x160W of Class D amplification at 4Ω. This Class D amplifier has all the qualities of this technology, with extremely limited heat generation and an impressive efficiency of 95%.
SMSL PA40: NJU7391 volume control chip
The PA40 is equipped with an NJU7391 volume control chip developed by Nisshinbo Micro Devices, enabling control of volume attenuation via a very low noise and distortion ladder resistance circuit, ensuring transparent volume control to the ear.
