The DC07Pro is the new version of iBasso's portable DAC/headphone amplifier. This compact device is equipped with four CS43131 chips and a custom-built FPGA, enabling it to read files up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512. Its low power consumption and high output level of 2x430mW at 32Ω make it the perfect travel companion.
iBasso DC07PRO: Custom FPGA
The DC07Pro uses FPGA technology developed in-house by iBasso, integrating audio algorithms and controlling the DAC/preamplifier system. As the heart of the DC07Pro, the FPGA system plays an essential role in regenerating the signal and synchronising it to the internal clock. It should also be noted that the FPGA system also generates a low-jitter clock signal for the DAC and USB signal processing, effectively reducing the jitter caused by the USB port.
iBasso DC07PRO: 4 DAC chips
To effectively complement iBasso's FPGA system, the DC07Pro is equipped with four Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chips, delivering truly impressive measurement performance. Indeed, the DC07Pro's harmonic distortion more noise figure is just 0.000098% for an output level of 2x430mW at 32Ω. Furthermore, thanks in part to the FPGA used, the DC07Pro supports DSD512 and 32bit 768kHz PCM.
iBasso DC07PRO: Quality power supply
The DC07Pro uses a synchronous DC/DC converter with an efficiency rate of 94%, ensuring minimal heat generation. Furthermore, the DC07Pro consumes just 80mA of power - 40% less than the DC04PRO - and delivers 82% more output. The DAC's power supply stage adopts a very low-noise voltage regulator dedicated to the analogue circuit with a PSRR (Power Supply Rejection Ratio) of up to 100dB, guaranteeing a perfectly clean power supply. Finally, it's also worth noting that the DC07Pro's low power consumption makes it de facto compatible with IPhones, as it does not trigger the latter's power consumption safety device.
iBasso DC07PRO: Intuitive navigation
The DC07PRO has a 0.96-inch OLED screen and is equipped with an ALPS encoder. The multifunction knob allows you to scroll through and make all the settings. Simply turn and press the multifunction knob to adjust volume, digital crossover and more. Furthermore, the DC07PRO also supports the iBasso UAC Android application, which allows you to control all settings using your Android device.
