DENAFRIPS HYPERION 12TH Power Amplifier Balanced Discrete Class AB 2x150W 4Ω Silver

The Denafrips Hyperion is a totally discrete, balanced power amplifier, benefiting from a particularly well-designed Class AB architecture. The Hyperion is capable of delivering 2x80W into 8Ω or 2x150W into 4Ω, while offering magnificent musicality and dynamics. Each channel is equipped with 4 pairs of output transistors.

In addition to its robust Class AB amplifier stage, the Denafrips Hyperion features an extensive power supply stage. This includes a large, custom-built 300VA shielded toroidal transformer, 18 high-capacity capacitors (147600µF) and a fast-switching schottky diode. Together, they provide the amplifier circuit with a clean, stable and more than adequate electrical signal.
