RASPBERRY PI 5 2Gb Micro HDMI Ethernet Gigabit WiFi Bluetooth 5.0 4x USB 2.4GHz

The latest addition to the SBC Raspberry Pi range, the Raspberry PI 5 2Gb offers a number of improvements over its predecessor, the Rasberry Pi 4. Overall performance is two to three times better than its predecessor, and graphics rendering has been greatly enhanced. This model uses the same basic features that made the Raspberry 4 such a success, but with completely redesigned connectors.

The main improvements on the Rasberry Pi 5 are a BCM2712 system-on-a-chip (SoC) with a new quad-core ARM A76 processor (ARM v8 - 64-bit - 2.4GHz) and a Video Core VII GPU for exceptional graphics performance. It is able to stream 4K 60fps video to two screens simultaneously via its micro-HDMI ports and supports HDR. In terms of connectivity, it now features a PCIe 2.0 FPC connection, as well as an RTC connector for real-time clocking and a UART port for debugging. A power ON/OFF switch has been added to the PCB for greater convenience.

It also retains the features of its predecessor, such as its LPDDR4 RAM, 2.4/5.0GHz wireless networking, Bluetooth 5.0 (BLE), Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 and PoE (the PoE HAT module is sold separately).
