The WiiM Pro+ is a compact, extremely versatile and high-performance audiophile streamer that transforms a conventional audio system into a connected system. It opens the door to music streaming via WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1, and is compatible with numerous transmission modes such as DLNA/UPnP, AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, Alexa Music Cast, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect. Several units can also be used in combination to set up a true multi-room system, with full remote control via the WiiM App mobile application or a voice assistant such as Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri.
The WiiM Pro+ is an improved version of the WiiM Pro, incorporating a better DAC and ADC as well as more efficient OPAs. Its performance, particularly with regard to its line input and output, has been revised upwards, with improved SNR and THD+N for even more accurate and transparent sound reproduction. The main improvements to the WiiM Pro+ are :
- A better ADC for line input: WiiM Pro+ uses a TI Burr-Brown PCM1861 ADC, supporting 32bit 192kHz PCM streams at output, with an SNR of 110dB.
- Ultra-low-noise clock, power supply and circuitry: The WiiM Pro+ features an ultra-low-noise clock and power supply and a PCB design optimised to achieve a THD+N of less than -110dB for the analogue output.
- AKM DAC and TI OPAs for improved line output quality: A new-generation AKM AK4493SEQ DAC is now used to achieve a very low level of distortion and a wide dynamic range thanks to AKM Velvet Sound technology. This chip supports PCM streams up to 768kHz and DSD up to DSD512 while achieving an SNR of 120dB (A-wt) and a THD+N of -110dB.
- Remote control: A voice remote control is now included, allowing you to control the WiiM Pro+ from the comfort of your sofa, without having to take out your phone.

What is Bit-Perfect?
Bit-perfect is a term commonly used in audio. It is used to describe a player that can play a file without making any changes of any kind.
For example, if your player plays a 24bit/192kHz Hi-Res file on Qobuz, the digital output will propose 24bit/192kHz. Just like if the music file played is a 16Bit/44.1kHz, the digital output will propose 16Bit/44.1kHz, without any modification. A real 1:1 ratio (Input / Output).
This is what we call a real Bit-Perfect reading, as close as possible to the musical reality of the piece played.
Wiim Pro + : AirPlay 2, DLNA and Chromecast
The WiiM Pro+ supports the Apple AirPlay2 wireless transmission protocol, allowing you to not only easily stream your music from an Apple device, but also stream your music to multiple audio devices at once.
It also supports the DLNA protocol and integrates a Chromecast, allowing a wireless distribution of its music from the vast majority of connected devices.
Wiim Pro + : Multiroom
The WiiM Pro+'s built-in multiroom feature allows you to stream your music throughout your home in 3 different modes. If you are using an Apple product, you can use Airplay 2 to set up your multiroom system. If you are using an Amazon product, you can use AVS (Alexa Voice Service) Multiroom technology. Finally, WiiM also provides an application to easily control your multiroom installation from your smartphone.
Wiim Pro + : Works with your voice assistant
The WiiM Pro+ is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri and Google Assistant. This means you can easily control your network player via your voice assistant. Voice control can be done from your smartphone or from a HomePod, Amazon Echo or Google Home device (not included).
Wiim Pro + : Multiple audio sources
The WiiM Pro+ is compatible with many streaming services and web radios, such as Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, Amazon Music and TuneIn. You can enjoy your favorite music services and stream them wirelessly to your audio system. And if you want to connect other audio devices to your WiiM Pro, it has a stereo RCA input and a Toslink optical input.
Wiim Pro PLUS : Spotify Connect & Tidal Connect
With the WiiM Pro+ you can stream your music directly from the Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect streaming services, without using the WiiM Home application.
Wiim Pro PLUS : AKM AK4493SEQ DAC
The WiiM Pro+ digital/analogue conversion stage uses an AKM AK4493SEQ DAC chip. This supports high-resolution streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512, but also offers very good sound performance, with an SNR measured at 120dB and a THD+N of -110dB.

WiiM offers its free WiiM Home mobile app for iOS and Android to easily control all your WiiM devices connected to your network.
Wiim Pro PLUS : 10 bands EQ
With the WiiM Home application, you also get a 10-band graphic equalizer, allowing you to fine-tune the sound reproduction, depending on your listening style and your audio system. 24 preset EQ profiles are also available for quick and easy adjustment.
Wiim Pro PLUS : Gapless playback
With gapless playback, your listening experience is enhanced. The WiiM Pro+ uses two decoders to remove the gaps between the tracks at the beginning and end of each song and then combine them.
