The NAD C379 amplifier benefits from a HybridDigital UcD digital amplifier module and an ESS ES9028 DAC chip for superb performance. It can deliver up to 2x80W of power at 4Ω or 8Ω, and supports high-resolution streams up to 32bit 384kHz PCM. Added to this are numerous features and extensive connectivity, making it a versatile and complete integrated amplifier:
- Bi-directional Bluetooth 5.0: aptX HD and the ability to pair headphones or IEMs wirelessly
- HDMI e-ARC port
- Phono preamplifier stage with RIIA equalization
- Independent headphones amplifier (6.35mm jack output)
- Pre-out and Sub outputs
- Outputs can be bridged for up to 1x 300W @ 8 ohm output power
- 2 MDC2 (Modular Design Construction) slots for optional modules such as the NAD MDC2 BluOS-D

NAD C379: HybridDigital UcD amplification
The NAD C379 delivers up to 2x 80W of output power at either 4Ω or 8Ω impedance. This is made possible by its HybridDigital UcD amplification technology, NAD's customized version of the Hypex UcD technology. This technology offers a high level of efficiency with sound reproduction benefiting from a minimum of noise and distortion. Overall, sound quality is optimal, precise and subtle.
NAD C379: DAC ES9028
The NAD C379 incorporates an ESS ES9028 DAC chip, enabling it to support high-resolution sampling rates up to 32bit 384kHz PCM. This digital-to-analog conversion chip offers a beautiful dynamic range and ultra-low distortion for the most pleasant listening experience.
NAD C379: bi-directional Bluetooth 5.0
A Bluetooth receiver-transmitter module available within the NAD C379 enables users to enjoy high-quality wireless listening via a smartphone, thanks to support for high-definition codecs such as aptX HD. But it's also possible for the NAD C379 to pair with wireless headphones or earphones thanks to bi-directional Bluetooth.
NAD C379: MDC2 racks
Two MDC2 racks are available on the rear panel of the NAD C379. These slots allow modules to be added to the amplifier to bring it new functionalities. In particular, an MDC2 BluOS-D module (sold separately) can be implemented to add Wi-Fi, Airplay 2, two-way Bluetooth, multiroom and Dirac Live calibration functions. In addition, the BlueOS application is able to access a number of online streaming services: Tidal, Deezer, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Spotify, etc.
NAD C379: LCD display and IR remote control
On the front of the NAD C379, you'll find an attractive LCD screen that provides access to the unit's various settings for simple, efficient navigation. In addition, an infrared remote control enables remote control of the device, for a highly practical user experience.
NAD C379: extensive connectivity
The NAD C379 is an integrated amplifier with extensive connectivity. These include an HDMI eARC input for retrieving the sound signal from a TV, and a phono input compatible with MM cells, as well as Toslink optical, SPDIF coaxial and RCA line inputs. Outputs include an RCA Pre-out, a subwoofer output and two pairs of speaker terminals. These two pairs of speaker terminals offer the possibility of using two separate pairs of speakers or a bi-wiring configuration. All in all, the NAD C379 offers a wide range of possibilities for connection, making it the centerpiece of your HiFi system.
