The SMSL AS400 is an extremely versatile integrated amplifier. It offers numerous advantages, such as a phono input, an HDMI ARC input, a preamplified output for active subwoofers, and two headphone outputs. It also features an audiophile chipset consisting of a CS43131 DAC chip coupled with an XMOS XU-316 USB interface, an MA5332MS amplifier chip, and an NJW1194A volume control chip. This allows it to support sampling rates up to PCM 32-bit 768kHz and DSD256 while delivering up to 2x 165W of power under a 4-ohm load via its speaker terminals. On top of that, it features Bluetooth with support for high-res aptX-HD and LDAC codecs for reliable and stable wireless transmission.
